LAUGHLIN, Nevada — On Friday, June 20th, Borroka hosted the weigh-in for Borroka 3: Archuleta vs. Linton from the Edgewater Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada. The main event will feature the first title fight in Borroka history as former Bellator and Rizin champion Juan "Spaniard" Archuleta (29-7) faces longtime KOTC champion Dennis "Mountain Warrior" Linton (10-3-1). They will meet for the inaugural Borroka Featherweight World Title.
Borroka 3, presented by GET BIOFUEL, will feature former UFC star and Strikeforce champion Josh "The Punk" Thomson, who will be joined in the booth by veteran MMA commentator Blake O'Rullian. They will call the action live from The Edge Pavilion at the Edgewater Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on SpectationSports.com at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Every fighter, except Dylan Morales and Pernevlon Sheppard, made their contracted weights when they stepped on the scale. They will now face each other at a catchweight of 141-pounds. Borroka 3 will proceed with six bouts, which includes the Featherweight World Title Fight at the top of the card.
