LAS VEGAS, Nevada — On Thursday, November 21st, Borroka hosted the weigh-in for Borroka 1: McKee vs. Ferral from the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event of the promotion’s inaugural event will feature an explosive Bantamweight Showdown when NCAA Division I All-American wrestler “Merciless” Mitch McKee (7-0) faces Mexican standout Héctor Ferral (8-2).
Borroka 1, presented by GET BIOFUEL, will feature veteran MMA commentator Blake O'Rullian, who will be joined in the booth by fellow commentator Garett Fertig and MMA media personality Dave “The Schmo” Schmulenson. They will call the action live from the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card will be available tomorrow night LIVE on SpectationSports.com at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Every fighter, except Kurt Ellis, Stefanos Argyrou, and Pablo Gomez made their contracted weights when they stepped on the scale. They will pay a penalty to their respective opponents. Borroka 1 will proceed with ten bouts, which includes the Bantamweight Showdown at the top of the card.
